If you like ethereal pink skies, the beach, and songs about heartbreak, have we got the MV for you! Jaden Smith released the new music video for his track ‘Photograph’ earlier this week, and we are obsessed!

Check out Jaden Smith‘s latest MV below:

Love-struck And Beach Vibes

The new video for ‘Photograph’ shows a jaded (no pun intended) Jaden Smith swimming in the ocean and lazing on the beach.

His lyrics explain a broken-hearted longing for a special someone as he searches around for them; “Cause you, you just found a special part of me/ That’s sinkin’ me by pulling me down/ It’s you, I’m in the middle of the ocean and I need you right now/ If I can’t love you, I guess I’ll just drown.”

Shot in the Bahamas, and directed by Jaden Smith himself, the video features scenes of Smith staring at the pink sunset, closing his eyes on a float, swimming through the current, and lying facedown in the sand. He floats down to the ocean floor fully clothed, clutching a Polaroid. “Thought I might write a song,” he sings. “Hoped you might sing along.”

Labour Of Love

Last year, Jaden Smith released ‘I’m Ready,’. The song was featured on the PlayStation video game ‘Marvel’s Spider-Man: Miles Morales’. In August 2020, Smith released his album “CTV3: Cool Tape Vol. 3”, a 17-track album that included his quarantine tracks “Cabin Fever,” “Falling for You” featuring Justin Bieber, and “Endless Summer” with Raury.

“CTV3: Cool Tape Vol. 3 is a labor of love,” Smith said in a statement. “It is a psychedelic movement of peace. It is the end of multiple eras for me as an artist, and I am so excited to share it with the world. Let rainbows and flowers be with you.”
