Jason Statham Stars as Santa's Stunt Double in 'World of Tanks: Holiday Ops' 

Jason Statham is giving up his fast cars and high-octane heists for a tank this holiday season. Wargaming, the game's developer, has selected the action star as the official Ambassador for the 2025 ‘Holiday Ops’ event of World of Tanks. Statham is the ideal choice for the event, which starts on 6th December and ends on 13th January 2025. Statham is well-known for his parts in action-packed movies including ‘The Transporter’, ‘The Meg’, and the ‘Fast & Furious’ series.

Santa is repeatedly struck in the face during a hectic Christmas movie production, as seen in the event teaser. Statham makes fun of the ridiculousness of Santa turning into "a ripped Jason Statham." With a blend of seasonal fun and high-octane action, he takes the crew through his explosive vision of the holidays, which culminates in him riding a tank and slowly blowing up Christmas presents. Fans desire that a full-length holiday film featuring Statham could be produced—at least for the time being—because the trailer is so amusing.

Having driven almost every kind of vehicle in his career, Statham said he was excited about the occasion and that driving a tank is the most exhilarating feeling of them. I'm prepared for the challenge, which is why I've partnered with Wargaming as the Holiday Operations Ambassador for World of Tanks." He can't wait to give players around some festive fun and activity.

Looking ahead, on 17th January 2025, Statham's next movie, ‘Levon's Trade’, which was written by Sylvester Stallone and directed by David Ayer, will be released in theatres. He portrays Levon Cade, a retired black operations agent who tries to lead a quiet life with his daughter but is recalled to duty after a loved one disappears. Jason Flemyng, Michael Peña, and David Harbour are among the cast members. In addition, Statham is collaborating with Annabelle Wallis and Jason Wong on Jean-François Richet's film ‘Mutiny’, which will go into production in September.
