You remember her as the heartbroken girl singing a glass-breaking (literally) number called ‘Bust Your Windows’. Now, Jazmine Sullivan is back, and how! The singer will be releasing her new album Heaux Tales, after 5 years! Don’t mind us, we’ll just be staring at our calendar, waiting for Friday.

For those of you who can’t wait till Friday, Jazmine dropped a new track from the upcoming album called ‘Girl Like Me’ featuring H.E.R. We are loving this power couple energy!
The song treats us with mellow beats, and gorgeously harmonious vocals by both singers, just blending together like milk and honey.

Heaux Tales follows Sullivan’s 2015 album ‘Reality Show’. Recent songs “Lost One” and “Pick Up Your Feelings” will also appear. Jazmine said, when asked about the motive behind the new album; “The truth is, women of all ages have been called a ‘heaux’ at some point in life, whether deserved or not, by some man trying to put us in our place; a place designed to keep us under control, out of the way and usually beneath them. Women are over feeling ashamed about the decision we have made, or chose to make, in regards to our bodies.”
