Jennifer Lopez Buys Stunning New Home After Finalising Divorce from Ben Affleck

After divorcing Ben Affleck, Jennifer Lopez is formally beginning a new chapter in her life.  According to real estate documents, the 55-year-old singer and actress recently paid over $18 million for a new house close to Los Angeles.

 After her divorce from Affleck was finalised in January 2025, she made this significant real estate transfer.  In August 2024, the couple's second wedding anniversary, Lopez filed for divorce.

According to reports, Lopez has been looking for a new residence since the spring of 2024.  According to sources, she started looking for a home in April, which is also when her divorce file states that she separated from her ex-husband.  She briefly considered a stunning home in Beverly Hills, which is renowned for its seclusion and famous neighbours, but finally decided on a different place.

 The ex-couple listed their joint Beverly Hills estate for $68 million in July.  After paying somewhat less than $61 million for the estate in June 2023, they attempted a private sale in June 2024 before putting it up for sale a month later.

However, Ben Affleck has also proceeded with his own acquisition.  In July, he purchased a $20.5 million house in Los Angeles that insiders said was suitable for a family and could be quickly converted into a bachelor pad.  His new area is regarded as more refined than trendy and is home to many elites in the entertainment world.

 It's interesting to note that Affleck closed on his house on the same day that Jennifer Lopez completed the sale of her property in New York City for $23 million, marking her 55th birthday.  Before it sold, her Manhattan duplex, which had four bedrooms and seven-and-a-half bathrooms, had been for sale for seven years.
