Jessie Ware Is Back With A Brand-New Track ‘Free Yourself’

Jessie Ware has shared her first track of 2022, the dance floor anthem ‘Free Yourself’.

Ware’s song ‘Free Yourself,’ which serves as a teaser for her upcoming fifth studio album, was co-written by British producer Stuart Price and Coffee Clarence JR and has a message of empowerment. Ware said in a press release, “‘Free Yourself’ is the beginning of a new era for me.”

“I’m so excited for people to have this song for the end of their summer; to dance, to feel no inhibitions and to feel joyful because that’s how I’ve been feeling recently being able to tour again and being able to sing again. Enjoy yourself, Free Yourself!”

‘Free Yourself’ is the first new solo material released by Ware since her 2021 edition of ‘What’s Your Pleasure?’, which featured seven brand-new songs and a remix of ‘Adore You’ by Chinese artists Bibi Zhou and Sihan.

Later that year, she collaborated with Kylie Minogue on the duet ‘Kiss Of Life,’ which was featured in the deluxe edition of Minogue’s 15th studio album, 2020’s ‘Disco,’ called ‘DISCO: Guest List Edition.’

NME gave Ware’s album ‘What’s Your Pleasure?’ a four-star review, complimenting her for rediscovering her disco, funk and groove roots in “a collection of exhilarating floor-fillers that fuse future-facing production with heady ’80s sounds.”

Ware has also revealed that she will perform with Harry Styles on five of his ‘Love On’ tour dates at Chicago’s United Center. Ware recently finished her own UK tour after extending it from April 2021 to December as a result of continued worries about the coronavirus outbreak. Then it was rescheduled once more in February, beginning on 26th May in Bristol.

At Ware’s performance of ‘Kiss of Life’ on 28th May at the O2 Academy Brixton, Minogue joined her on stage.
