Jimmy Fallon Shines in Broadway Debut

Broadway is now firmly on Jimmy Fallon’s list of accomplishments. Recently, the ‘Tonight Show’ host made his Broadway debut, joining the renowned cast of Simon Rich’s ‘All In: Comedy About Love’.

Fallon celebrated this milestone while being shot at the Hudson Theatre in New York City. He performs alongside Nick Kroll, Aidy Bryant, and Lin-Manuel Miranda. Bryant’s Broadway debut, which started on 14th January, is also marked by this production. Her last show is scheduled for 2nd February, the day Fallon and Kroll wrap up their engagements.

Since its December debut, ‘All In’ has had a stellar cast that includes Tony Award winner Renée Elise Goldsberry, Fred Armisen, Richard Kind, and John Mulaney. More well-known performers are scheduled for the latter weeks of the 10-week restricted engagement, which ends in February. Tim Meadows, Hank Azaria, Annaleigh Ashford, and David Cross are expected to make appearances during the last shows.

The play, which explores issues including courtship, heartbreak, and marriage, was directed by Alex Timbers and includes original stories by humorist Simon Rich. Fallon and other current and former ‘Saturday Night Live’ stars have taken notice of Rich’s past as a writer. Lorne Michaels of ‘Saturday Night Live’ provides support for the production, which features live music by The Bengsons, including songs from ‘The Magnetic Fields’ album ‘69 Love Songs’.

According to the description, the play promises romance, laughter, and live music in a 90-minute encounter with well-known television characters, emphasising its main theme on the value of relationships.
