Joe Jonas Clarifies New Album Isn’t “Coming For Anyone” After Post-Split Album
Joe Jonas recently opened up about his upcoming solo album, ‘Music for People Who Believe in Love’, insisting that it’s not intended to “put stuff on blast” despite the significant changes in his personal life. He clarified that the album isn’t about targeting anyone, and instead, it’s a reflection of his gratitude for the beautiful life he leads. “I’m not trying to come for anyone on this album. I’m not trying to put stuff on blast. I have a beautiful life that I’m grateful for,” Jonas shared.
The singer, who shares two daughters, Willa and Delphine, with his estranged wife Sophie Turner, emphasised that he’s in a positive place. Despite this, he acknowledged that the journey to his current happiness wasn’t easy.

Reflecting on his personal growth, Jonas explained that the album represents his experiences as a person, father, and friend. “I was going through a lot of life change, finding out who I was as a person and father and friend, and living under the microscope of what the music industry can be,” he said.
Jonas turned to music as an outlet during a tumultuous time in his life, finding solace and expression through his art. He hopes that his new album will resonate with listeners who may be navigating their challenges. “And I think, at such a crazy time in my life, I looked to music as an outlet,” Jonas noted, adding that he hopes the album “helps people through what they’re going through.”
The album’s lead single, ‘Work It Out’, was initially intended for the Jonas Brothers, but Jonas felt a personal connection to the track and sought his brothers’ permission to use it for his solo project. “I was listening to it, and I was like, ‘Damn, I really like this song,’ and I was starting to feel like, ‘I don’t know why, but I want this song for myself,'” Jonas revealed. After getting the green light from his brothers, he moved forward with his solo venture.
In addition to the lead single, Jonas hinted that the album will feature collaborations with various artists, adding a rich diversity of voices and narratives. “I was reaching out to a lot of different people because I felt like I wanted to have other narratives and other voices and a lot of duets,” Jonas teased. This collaborative spirit is set to make the album a multifaceted exploration of love and personal growth.
