John Carpenter and Bong Joon-ho Team Up for Upcoming Horror Film Collaboration

Bong Joon-ho and John Carpenter have decided to work together on Bong's next horror movie.  The choice was made after a recent screening of a 4K restoration of ‘The Thing’, one of Carpenter's best-known movies.  Carpenter enthusiastically offered to write the soundtrack when Bong stated that one of his upcoming films would be a horror picture.  The two filmmakers shook hands to finalize their deal.

Carpenter is renowned for writing enduring music for his classic movies, such as ‘The Fog’, ‘Christine’, and ‘Halloween’.  In the meantime, Robert Pattinson played the lead part of a clone employed for perilous missions in Bong's newly released ‘Mickey 17’, his first feature film since the critically acclaimed ‘Parasite’.

Along with this fascinating partnership, Bong's humorous inventiveness was demonstrated in an interview when he revealed that he had once considered making an ‘Alien’ musical.  He also disclosed that BLACKPINK is his favourite K-pop group.  However, despite praising Margot Robbie's performance, Carpenter subsequently acknowledged that he saw ‘Barbie’ but found a lot of it unclear.
