John Legend Confesses Cheating Before Chrissy Teigen

John Legend, the American singer-songwriter confesses to cheating in his past relationships before he met Chrissy Teigen. The ‘All of Me‘ singer addressed this on the Dax Shepard’s Armchair Expert podcast on July 13, 2020.

The singer explains that he went through a lot in his teenage years as he was one of those kids who would hang out with kids elder to him, which caused girls to not pay attention to John Legend.

“I think yes, I did have a history [of cheating], especially in my 20s, I think what happened for me personally is, you go through a lot of your life, like your teens, and I was like the ‘two years younger kid than everybody’ in high school and college, and so I just didn’t get a lot of girls when I was younger. And when I started to get that attention, I loved it — just ate it up.”

Well, wondering how did John Legend get away with being a cheater? Well, he explains that as well, “Part of it, I escaped technically cheating by kind of keeping my relationship ill-defined. But it was really cheating. You can try to get off on technicalities…I was dishonest and selfish and just enjoyed this new attention I was getting.”

But seems like John Legend didn’t want to be that man but then it was only possible after he met his now- wife, Chrissy Teigen. The couple are parents to two lovely kids, Luna and Miles.

“At a certain point you just realize, like, you’re happier being honest. And you’re happier being faithful and being in love with one person. And at a certain point, I just decided that that person was Chrissy and I…just decided I wasn’t going to mess with anybody else anymore.”

Well, if you know anything about Chrissy Teigen, you ought to know that she does not shy away from controversies and just requires a bit of material to crack up. The wife of John Legend, took to her private account on Twitter to share the interview and said, “‘Especially’?? The other shit is the 10’s and 30’s so u better be talking the tens, idiot.””

Well, we really appreciate honesty when it has to do with your past regrets. Kudos to John Legend for confessing and showing his vulnerable side to his fans.
