‘Jurassic World Rebirth’: Scarlett Johansson Reveals Zora’s Military Roots 

This summer, a brand-new cast of celebrities will be leading the charge as ‘Jurassic World Rebirth’ thunders into theatres.  Scarlett Johansson, who has long wanted to be a part of the Jurassic series, finally steps into the dinosaur-filled mayhem.  The former Marvel star plays Zora Bennett, an experienced security guard with a strong military background and a personality that will undoubtedly be as brilliant as the events taking place around her.

Johansson recently talked about the role she is playing in ‘Jurassic World Rebirth’ in an interview with Entertainment Weekly.  Zora has experienced danger before.  Having served in the military and private security for a long time, she has witnessed loss and adversity, yet she never lets it break her spirit.  Johansson created Zora as a strong, competent character who, despite danger, never forgot to have a sense of fun and optimism.

According to her, Zora is the kind of person that everyone wants by their side during difficult times and is a devoted friend.  She stands out in a world where survival is never assured, in part because of her lively charisma.  Johansson also lauded screenwriter David Koepp, who was back from the first ‘Jurassic Park’, for creating a character that was full of passion, grit, and depth.  All she had to do was inject her own vitality into Zora.

Additionally, EW unveiled two brand-new stills from ‘Jurassic World Rebirth’ that provide a preview of Johansson's Zora in action.  Oscar winner Mahershala Ali co-stars with her as seasoned adventurer Duncan Kincaid, while ‘Bridgerton’ standout Jonathan Bailey portrays the intelligent but erratic Dr. Henry Loomis, who heads the trip in pursuit of priceless DNA samples.  Rupert Friend, Luna Blaise, and Ed Skrein are now in the cast, which gives this daring new chapter even more talent.

 The goal of ‘Jurassic World Rebirth’, which was executive produced by Steven Spielberg and directed by Gareth Edwards (‘Rogue One’, ‘The Creator’), is to recreate the exciting essence of the original movies.  The stage is set for a genuinely spectacular comeback with Koepp back at the helm and a new, vibrant cast.

On 2nd July, ‘Jurassic World Rebirth’ opens in theatres.
