Director Clint Eastwood, known for his thought-provoking dramas, explains that the film explores the complexities of everyday life. "This is a film I would want to see, one I think many people will enjoy," says Eastwood, who appreciates how the story confronts the blurred lines between right and wrong. He adds, "The story intrigued me because it places the character in a situation anyone could relate to, testing their moral compass."

The film’s compelling narrative is driven by a well-crafted script from Jonathan Abrams. Eastwood reflects on how the project began with a strong story and evolved into a film that captivates both him and the audience. "It really interests me when a character is placed in a moral dilemma," he notes, underscoring his enthusiasm for the film's central theme.

Hoult’s performance in the lead role impressed Eastwood, who believes the actor embodies the essence of a true movie star. "Nicholas Hoult really stood out to me—he is what I think a movie star is," says Eastwood, praising Hoult’s professionalism and dedication on set.

Despite the weighty subject matter, the set atmosphere was far from sombre. Eastwood shares that the cast and crew, including Hoult, shared plenty of laughs during production. "It’s important to enjoy the work, and we did," he says, emphasising the positive energy on set while creating this gripping moral drama.
