Justin Baldoni’s ‘Pac-Man’ Movie in Limbo Amid Legal Battle With Blake Lively

As Justin Baldoni’s legal battle with ‘It Ends With Us’ co-star Blake Lively heats up, his ‘Pac-Man’ movie is currently in limbo.
In August of last year, Baldoni proposed that declaring his participation as the film’s director may operate as a diversion from the growing tensions around ‘It Ends With Us’. He suggested that revealing his ‘Pac-Man’ participation to the public would help refocus attention on upcoming endeavours in a mail sent to his publicity staff in August. But according to The Hollywood Reporter, the movie had already begun production at Wayfarer Studios in 2022.
After months of conflict, his dispute with Lively has finally turned into a full-fledged court battle. Due to an allegedly defamatory piece, Baldoni has also countersued Lively, her husband Ryan Reynolds, and The New York Times.

Baldoni has reportedly lost a number of job chances and substantial financial support as a result of the incident; it has been said that the repercussions have cost him “hundreds of millions of dollars.” Many of Wayfarer Studios’ industry partners are now reevaluating their participation, according to sources close to the company. Baldoni and millionaire Steve Sarowitz co-founded the studio, which has previously provided funding for a number of films, including ‘It Ends With Us’.
‘A Nice Indian Boy’, an LGBT romance starring Karan Soni and Jonathan Groff, ‘Code 3’, the sports drama ‘The Senior’, and Scarlett Johansson’s ‘Eleanor the Great’ are among the other movies on Wayfarer’s schedule. However, the business is having trouble repairing its reputation as new agreements are slowing.
The rights holder has not yet provided an update on the status of ‘Pac-Man’, thus the movie’s future is still up in the air.
