Justin Bieber Collaborates With 2024’s Top Guitarist For First Music Release Since 2021

Justin Bieber is back in the studio, crafting new music with indie sensation Mk.gee. This marks Bieber’s first musical endeavour since his 2021 album ‘Justice’. Known for his distinctive guitar skills, Mk.gee, recently highlighted in The New York Times, is set to bring a fresh sound to Bieber’s repertoire.

Mk.gee shared insights about their collaboration, noting that Bieber is exploring a new musical direction. “Anything that comes out of his mouth: That’s pop music,” Mk.gee commented. This partnership is highly anticipated as Bieber steps back into the spotlight after a hiatus influenced by health issues.

Bieber’s break was prompted by Ramsay Hunt syndrome, which led to partial facial paralysis. The condition caused the postponement and eventual cancellation of his tour dates, although he continued to make guest appearances on tracks by Don Toliver and SZA.

Mk.gee, whose real name is Michael Todd Gordon, has gained recognition for his innovative approach to guitar and has been praised by industry legends like Eric Clapton. His previous work, including the EPs Pronounced McGee and Fool, and the mixtape ‘A Museum of Contradiction’, has garnered attention for its unique sound.

In addition to his music career, Bieber is embracing life as a new father. He and his wife, Hailey Bieber, recently welcomed their first child, a baby boy named Jack Blues Bieber. This new personal chapter might influence his forthcoming music.

While no release date for the new material has been set, the collaboration with Mk.gee is creating significant buzz and is expected to bring exciting developments to Bieber’s sound.
