Justin Timberlake & Timbaland Are Cooking Up A New Treat

This month has witnessed a lot of artists make their comeback to the music scene. Justin Bieber recently dropped ‘Holy’ featuring Chance the Rapper. Preceding this, Sam Smith put out a brand new single, ‘Diamonds’ from their forthcoming album. And even Ariana Grande has promised that she’s got a bundle of new music on the way. Now, adding to this steadily growing list is a seasoned star, the one, the only, Justin Timberlake.

The artist recently took to social media to tease the possible release of a fresh track, in league with his long-time collaborator, Timbaland. The brief clip featured both stars in the studio, grooving to a steady set of beats playing in the background. Justin simply captioned the post with, “Back together again”. 

Further, Timbaland also shared the same clip to his Instagram with the caption, “We back!!!” fueling fan speculations of a new track. Earlier in the year, Justin Timberlake did confirm that he was working on a follow-up to his fifth studio album, “Man of the Woods”.

This record made its landing in February of 2018 and witnessed Justin experiment with the R&B/Soul genre a lot more. “Man of the Woods” also nursed some sultry hits like ‘Filthy’ and ‘Say Something‘. In fact, the album itself debuted at the summit of the Billboard 200 chart, adding yet another feather to Justin’s cap. 

Apart from Timbaland, Justin also mentioned that he was working alongside  Hit-Boy and frequent collaborators Danja and Rob Knox, for this new project. 

Whether their reunion will lead up to a brand new album, is something only time will tell.
