Kane Brown Remixes ‘Homesick’ For a Good Cause

Kane Brown is giving for a good cause

Singer-songwriter, Kane Brown, has released a remixed version of his 2018 hit, ‘Homesick’, joining hands with the Crown Royal Purple Bag Project. This brand new initiative will support those minority veterans in the U.S currently fighting on the front lines.

‘Homesick’ Is a Dedication

Kane Brown released ‘Homesick’ back in 2018. And, at the time, the official music video was dedicated to “all the brave men and women of the United States armed forces”. The track, along with the video, details the various sacrifices that members of the armed forces have to make. In addition, it talks about their desire for a place called “home”.

Cut to 2020, and Brown has remixed the track, specifically calling it ‘Homesick (Veterans Version)’. And, according to a statement, the collaboration aims at providing practical support to the minority veterans currently fighting at the front lines.

How it Will Help Veterans

The statement reads: “For every stream of ‘Homesick (Veterans Version)’, The Crown Royal Purple Bag Project will pack 1 bag to be donated as a care package to non-profit Packages From Home.” Further, the collaboration aims at “supporting the American heroes who have generously served our country during these unprecedented times.” And, this list of heroes includes essential workers, first responders, and healthcare workers. In addition, it also caters to those who are fighting for social justice in the minority veteran community.

‘Homesick (Veterans Version) is now available on all streaming platforms.
