Kanye West and Julia Fox Call It Quits
The news comes only hours after Kanye said that he had “faith” that he and Kim Kardashian would be back. The relationship between Kanye West and Julia Fox has ended. A representative for the Uncut Gems actress confirmed to E! News on Monday (February 14) that they are no longer dating.
The representative informed the newspaper, “Julia and Kanye remain good friends and collaborators, but they are no longer together.”
Kanye took to Instagram only hours before Fox’s rep confirmed the breakup, once again sharing his affections for estranged wife Kim Kardashian. The “Hurricane” rapper stated that he has “faith” in his relationship with the reality TV star and that he is “passionate about my family.”
West and Fox first sparked dating rumours on New Year’s Eve when they were seen together at a party in Miami, and the rapper went on many dates with the actress in New York City. The 32-year-old wrote an essay for Interview Magazine on 6th January in which she detailed the circumstances leading up to their romance.
Fox wrote, “It was an instant bond. It’s a blast to be around him since he’s so energetic. He kept my friends and me laughing, dancing, and smiling the entire night.”
“We decided to keep the momentum going and travel back to New York City to see Slave Play,” she continued. Ye’s flight landed at six o’clock, the game was at seven o’clock, and he arrived ON TIME. I was blown away. We decided to have dinner at Carbone, which is one of my favourite restaurants, after the performance. Obviously.”
The news of their split comes less than two weeks after the rapper, who now goes by the moniker Ye, celebrated Fox’s birthday with her close friends in New York City on 3rd February. The following day, Kanye went public with his displeasure with Kardashian about their daughter North being on TikTok against his wishes.
Kardashian later published a statement on the subject via Instagram. “I have wished for a healthy connection and supportive co-parenting relationship from the beginning because it is what is best for our children, and it saddens me that Kanye continues to make it impossible every step of the way,” she wrote, adding that she hopes to “resolve any concerns amicably.”
Kanye has since made public requests for the ‘Keeping Up With the Kardashians’ actress to reconnect with her family, as well as taking jabs at her current boyfriend, Saturday Night Live actor Pete Davidson. Ye recently called Davidson a “d—head,” mocked his Hillary Clinton tattoo, and stated publicly that Davidson “WILL NEVER MEET MY CHILDREN.”
