Kardashian Siblings Face Backlash Over Resurfaced Lawsuit
A 2008 lawsuit brought by artist Brandy’s mother, Sonja Norwood, has reappeared on social media, bringing Kim Kardashian, her siblings Kourtney, Khloe, and Rob under further attention. According to the lawsuit, the Kardashian siblings took more than $120,000 by abusing Brandy’s credit card.
Sonja Norwood, who worked as Brandy’s personal stylist, allegedly accused Kim of fraud, according to People magazine. According to Norwood, Kim was authorized to use the family credit card for a single purchase, but more than $120,000 was charged instead. The Kardashians were far from the international renown and fortune they now enjoy when the case was launched, and it also sought an additional 10% interest.
Kim’s relationship with Brandy’s brother, Ray J, whom she dated from 2003 to 2006, was the source of her ties to the Norwood family. But it wasn’t until the Kardashians started to become well-known that the case started to take off. Despite the controversy, Norwood then explained that her children, Brandy and Ray J., requested that the matter be dropped.

Since then, Kim has led the Kardashians to become one of the most well-known and affluent families in the world. The woman, who has a net worth of $1.7 billion with her ex-husband Kanye West, is the mother of four children: North, Saint, Chicago, and Psalm.
Just months after her relationship with NFL player Odell Beckham Jr. ended, Kim has been in the news lately for dating a low-key real estate agent. She previously spent nine months in a well-publicized relationship with comedian Pete Davidson, which was chronicled on her reality show The Kardashians.
