Kate Bush recently shared her excitement about potentially creating her first new album since ‘50 Words for Snow’, revealing she’s “very keen” to return to music. In an interview the ‘Army Dreamers’ artist expressed her eagerness to get back into the creative process, though she clarified that she hasn’t started any new material yet.
Bush mentioned that she’s been engaged in archival projects over recent years, including updates to her website and the release of a lyric book. However, the idea of a new album remains at the forefront of her thoughts.

Bush admitted that in the past year, she’s felt a renewed urge to begin working on fresh music, though she isn’t considering live performances just yet. When asked about the possibility of returning to the stage, even after encouragement from longtime friend David Gilmour, Bush said, “I’m not there yet.”
Her last album of new material came out over a decade ago, with subsequent releases focused on live and compilation albums. However, Bush’s music experienced a recent resurgence, as her classic track ‘Running Up That Hill’ captivated a new generation when featured on ‘Stranger Things’.
