Kate Bush’s ‘Running Up That Hill’ To Be Reissued as a CD Single

The popular song ‘Running Up That Hill (A Deal With God)’ by Kate Bush will soon be available again as a CD single.

The song from the album, ‘Hounds of Love’ will be made available soon for the first time in this format.

Bush and Harry Styles were both cited as the top acts on Spotify’s new Top Songs Of Summer 2022 streaming report.

Over 610 million streams of Styles’ popular song ‘As It Was’ have been recorded on the site in only the last three months. The star’s third solo album’s lead hit, ‘Harry’s House,’ has received the highest global airplay.

On the global run-down, Bush’s timeless song ‘Running Up That Hill’ came in second, but it topped Styles as the most-streamed song of summer in the US.

Since ‘Running Up That Hill’ was heavily included in the fourth season of Stranger Things, which was released on OTT as two volumes in May and July, there has been a tremendous resurgence in demand for the song.

Bush reportedly made an estimated $2.3 million (£1.9 million) in streaming revenue with ‘Running Up That Hill’ earlier this year when it appeared in Stranger Things 4.

Bush described the popularity of her song as “extraordinary” and said it was “very special” that younger audiences were listening to it.
