Kathryn Hahn Was Surprised When Marvel Called Her Back For ‘Agatha All Along’

Kathryn Hahn recently expressed her surprise when Marvel approached her with the idea for a ‘WandaVision’ spin-off series.

The actress also dropped hints about her character Agatha Harkness’s future in the MCU. The finale of ‘WandaVision’ had left Agatha trapped in a cursed stupor, sparking anticipation among fans for her return.

Hahn confided that she had a strong feeling her character would make a comeback to address the unresolved mysteries. Her final conversation with head writer Jac Schaeffer centred on this very notion.

“I remember Jac saying, ‘God, I’d love to write for you again,'” Hahn reminisced. “We both kept saying, ‘We have unfinished business’ at the end of WandaVision.”

Although they couldn’t foresee the exact outcome, their instincts were spot on. Hahn soon found herself leading a full-fledged spin-off series that delves into the dark adventures of the Salem witch.

However, despite her excitement, Hahn admitted to feeling unexpectedly daunted when Marvel first pitched the idea to her. “I got a call from Louis D’Esposito saying, ‘How’d you like your own Marvel show?’ — a call you never get. My heart was pounding,” she recalled.
