Katie Leung, best known for her role as Cho Chang in the ‘Harry Potter’ series, is joining the cast of ‘Bridgerton’ for its fourth season, marking a fascinating crossover between two iconic worlds. In ‘Bridgerton’, Leung will play Araminta Gun, a character described as “twice-married and twice-widowed,” with two daughters making their debut in society.
Araminta is a discerning and blunt woman, determined to protect her social standing at all costs. The upcoming season promises to be filled with drama and romance. Benedict Bridgerton, known for his disdain for the marriage market, finds himself enchanted by a mysterious woman, Sophie, at a masquerade ball.

However, Sophie’s interest in Benedict complicates matters, as she has her sights set on the town's most eligible bachelor, creating a significant obstacle for their love story. With numerous social pressures and scheming mothers, Benedict faces a challenging season.
Alongside Leung, the season will introduce Michelle Mao and Isabella Wei, who will play Araminta’s daughters, Rosamund and Posy. Rosamund is described as “vain and eager,” determined to secure a match with Benedict, much like her ambitious mother. In contrast, Posy is the more talkative and kind-hearted sister, prone to speaking out of turn.

Season four of ‘Bridgerton’ will centre on the romance between Benedict Bridgerton and Sophie Baek, adapted from Julia Quinn’s ‘An Offer from a Gentleman’.
Luke Thompson, who plays Benedict, shared insights into the new season, highlighting the balance between fairy-tale romance and real-world struggles. “True happiness,” he teased, “will be found somewhere in the middle of that.”
