Katy Perry Opens Up About Her and Orlando Bloom's 'Hot and Fast' Arguments 

There's plenty of energy in the Perry-Bloom household. Katy Perry recently shared insights about her relationship with fiancé Orlando Bloom and their "hot and fast" arguments during an interview with Apple Music's Zane Lowe promoting her new album, ‘143’.

The ‘Lifetimes’ singer highlighted how their bold personalities influence their 4-year-old daughter, Daisy Dove. "She’s not shy at all; she’s a product of two very bold parents," Perry said. She described their arguments as intense but brief, noting, "We argue hot and fast, then quickly cool down. It’s like, ‘La la la la la, I love you. Alright, let’s move on.’"

Perry characterized their family as "loud," referring to themselves as the "chaos crew." She explained, "We are fire, fire, fire, and Daisy sees all of that."

She also spoke about Bloom's energy as a partner, saying, "He’s a real sage. We have two sides to ourselves: our higher selves and our more ego-driven sides. When the ego takes over, it can get wild, but when it’s in check, we become something special."

The couple met at a Golden Globes afterparty in January 2016, and before that, Perry described feeling "stuck in a bad, continuing loop." She was looking for someone as adventurous as she is and set intentions under a full moon, hoping to attract the right romantic connection. She even wore a rose quartz dress to "attract the love I want." "I wanted someone to meet me in the adventure department because I love adventure," she said, recalling that they once jumped out of a helicopter together.

Since getting engaged in 2019 and welcoming Daisy the following year, Perry has gained a deeper understanding of Bloom and appreciates him as a partner and co-parent. "Life isn’t always perfect; it’s about who you are in challenging moments," she noted. "I see his true character during those times, and that’s why I chose him."
