Katy Perry Responds to Orlando Bloom's Viral Photo With Kim Kardashian

Katy Perry recently addressed a viral photo of her fiancé, Orlando Bloom, seemingly checking out Kim Kardashian at the Kering Foundation's Caring for Women Dinner. During an interview on the Elvis Duran Show, host Elvis Duran brought up the image, joking that Bloom appeared to be staring at Kardashian’s figure. Perry, taking the comment in stride, responded playfully, saying, “I approve,” and asked, "What's the controversy?" Duran clarified that there was none, leading Perry to quip, “Count that click, honey!”

The photo, featuring Perry, Bloom, and Kardashian, was taken at the charity event where both stars made a striking appearance. Bloom looked dapper in a tuxedo, while Perry dazzled in a sequined Balenciaga gown. Kardashian, co-host of the event, wore a form-fitting Balenciaga dress as well.

The viral moment followed Perry’s recent appearance on the ‘Call Her Daddy’ podcast, where she opened up about her relationship with Bloom. She reflected on their 2017 split and the journey to their reconciliation before getting engaged and welcoming their daughter, Daisy Dove. 

Perry revealed that the couple wasn’t fully committed from the start, largely due to their different life stages at the time. Bloom had just finished a period of celibacy and set intentions for himself, while Perry, fresh out of a relationship, wasn’t ready for a serious commitment.

Perry credited Bloom’s transformative experience at California’s Hoffman Institute for helping them reconnect, as well as her own journey of self-discovery. She admitted that she once relied heavily on external validation but the retreat helped her rewire her thinking, ultimately deepening their bond.
