Everything looks brighter stepping into the new year! Ke$ha shared some good news with fans for 2020: her new album – High Road is all set for release on the 31st of January. The 32-year old pop veteran made the announcement via Instagram.
“Taking the high road January 31,” she captioned a photo of her smoking out a window at night.
Ke$ha shared a trailer for ‘High Road’ back in October, letting her fans know that on this album she “reconnected to the unrestrained joy and wildness that’s always been a part of me, and in this process I have had the most fun I’ve ever had making a record.”
She has released a handful of tracks from the forthcoming record, including the latest titled ‘Resentment’ which featured the Beach Boys’ Brian Wilson, Sturgill Simpson, and Wrabel. High Road will feature more guests including Imagine Dragons’ Dan Reynolds and Fun’s Nate Ruess. Whew! Talk about a star lineup!
She also recently announced that her new makeup line, Kesha Rose Beauty, is closely connected with her new album. “Every shade [in the eyeshadow palette] is a different song title, whether it’s old school, or yet to be released, and the light pink is an unreleased track,” she said. “There’s a little story behind each shade.” – an interesting take on the album adding that sense of intrigue and hyping up the album drop! Hopefully will be worth the wait, only time shall tell.
