Kelly Clarkson’s Daughter Makes a Cameo in David Guetta’s Remix Video For ‘Favourite Kind of High’
David Guetta’s beach club-friendly remix of Kelly Clarkson’s summertime hit gave it some more rays of sunshine.
Clarkson released the remix version of the song ‘Favourite Kind of High’ along with a lyric video that had a cute cameo. In the technicolour visualizer, River Rose, the singer’s eight-year-old daughter, stands in for Guetta behind the DJ booth and spins records while holding headphones in one hand.
Kelly has shared custody with her ex-husband Brandon Blackstock over River and Remi Alexander, Clarkson’s 7-year-old son.
“You’re my favourite kind of high / Rushing through me like a fire / And I need you to know / I say I won’t but I do / When it comes to loving you / I have no control,” Clarkson sings in the chorus. ‘Favorite Kind of High’ is followed by double singles ‘Mine’ and ‘Me’ from her upcoming tenth studio album, ‘Chemistry’.
“Having chemistry with someone is an incredible, and overwhelming, feeling. It’s like you have no choice in the matter,” Clarkson said in a press statement. “You are just drawn to each other. This can be good and bad. This album takes you down every path that chemistry could lead you down.”
