Kendrick Lamar’s Super Bowl 2025 Halftime Show: Drake Diss, SZA Collaboration, and Serena Williams Cameo

Even if you saw Kendrick Lamar’s exuberant ‘Super Bowl 2025 Halftime Show’ live, you might want to watch it again because it was jam-packed with so many memorable moments and hits.
Thankfully, the NFL made things simple by posting the entire game to YouTube shortly after the Philadelphia Eagles defeated the Kansas City Chiefs 40–22 on 9th February, to win the championship. From Samuel L. Jackson’s portrayal of an authoritative Uncle Sam figure who keeps Lamar in line throughout the performance to Serena Williams’ unexpected appearance during ‘Not Like Us,’ where she broke out her trademark crip walk—seemingly taking a jab at Drake just by being there—the video lets fans relive every detail.

Lamar didn’t require much assistance in expressing his opinions about his longtime rap foe. He smirked and then looked directly into the camera as he delivered a scathing song about the Toronto rapper’s purported preferences, clearly addressing Drake’s lawsuit against Universal Music Group over ‘Not Like Us.’
However, Lamar’s performance covered more ground than just the current rap feud. In addition to honouring previous hits like ‘DNA’ and ‘Humble,’ the playlist paid homage to his most recent Billboard 200 No. 1 album, ‘GNX’, which included songs like ‘TV Off’ with producer Mustard as a guest.
