Kesha’s High Road trailer is fiery

Kesha has officially lit the flame – literally – on her next musical chapter with a glimmer of a new song. The pop star posted a brief video on social media, that features an upbeat dance track for what appears to be her next single, ‘High Road.’

The clip, which shows a Kesha-shaped candle burn down as the chords and bass for ‘High Road’ cascade in the background, follows her creative approach to introducing new tunes: earlier this week, she had Animals call up a 1-855 number to hear a sneak preview of her fresh material.

She later posted a second video of the same burning candle in reverse, with “Road” text over the clip. Her dial-up message had some holy-rolling vibes to it (she encouraged her fans to get “blessed” by calling her up), but Kesha opted for an equally mysterious and simple approach to this Sunday morning treat. It’s not a ton to go on, but here’s hoping the fully-formed ‘High Road’ follows soon.
