Kevin Costner Brings Three of His Kids to the Red Carpet for ‘Horizon’ Premiere

At the premiere of the most recent instalment in his ‘Horizon’ western film series, Kevin Costner was accompanied by three of his most ardent fans.
At the Santa Barbara International Film Festival, the 70-year-old actor walked the red carpet for the premiere of ‘Horizon: An American Saga – Chapter 2’ in the United States. He was accompanied by his three children, which he shares with his ex-wife, Christine Baumgartner: a 14-year-old girl named Grace and two sons, Cayden, 17, and Hayes, 15.
Costner’s kids looked chic for the event as the family posed for pictures. Her brothers donned traditional collared shirts, pants, and sneakers, while Grace wore a strapless minidress with a flowery design. Costner himself looked dapper in a three-piece suit in navy blue.
Along with his 28-year-old Liam from his previous relationship with Bridget Rooney, the ‘Yellowstone’ star is also the father of four adult children: Annie, 40, Lily, 38, and Joe, 37, from his marriage to Cindy Silva.

Five of Costner’s children, Annie, Joe, Grace, Cayden, and Hayes, attended the first Horizon movie’s Los Angeles premiere last year. He had previously made a joke about his children having already seen the film at the Cannes Film Festival, although with French subtitles at the time.
In an Instagram post after the screening, Costner shared his thoughts on the experience and expressed his appreciation for the opportunity to launch the second chapter of ‘Horizon’ in Santa Barbara, a location that holds special meaning for him. He thanked the festival and the local audience for their kind response and said he was grateful to be surrounded by family, friends, and the hardworking cast and crew.
Costner discussed his concept for ‘Horizon’ at a panel discussion following the screening, highlighting his emphasis on human, emotional moments rather than the conventional Western action. He clarified that people are genuinely moved by the little, significant aspects in both life and movies.

Reflecting on his decades-long journey to make ‘Horizon’ a reality, Costner disclosed that he tried to make the movie for the first time in 1988 but was unsuccessful. Unfazed, he made the decision to develop the concept into a four-film epic. In his birthday post from last month, he humorously acknowledged his continued love of westerns and storytelling by uploading a picture of himself as a toddler dressed as a cowboy and stating that he had always been drawn to the cowboy lifestyle.
