When Kevin Jonas appeared on ‘Watch What Happens Live’, he found himself in a fix during a round of Andy Cohen’s popular ‘Plead the Fifth’ game.
“Which former Disney star has the better music catalogue? Miley Cyrus or Demi Lovato,” Cohen asked.
“We wrote the first album for Demi, so I would say us because, then, we’re included,” he responded diplomatically. Nick Jonas gave him a round of applause for the answer. The Jonas Brothers wrote and produced most of Lovato’s album, ‘Don’t Forget’ and it featured some unforgettable hits like ‘La La Land’ and ‘Get Back.’ The album also featured a collaboration with the Jonas Brothers called ‘On the Line.’
The band also has a personal connection with both the Disney girls, as Nick dated Cyrus and Joe dated Demi back in the day. Lovato has also spoken out about the difficulties she faced growing up in Disney, which she called the ‘Disney High’. She began directing her first feature film earlier this year. She will co-direct ‘Child Star’ with Nicola Marsh. The documentary film aims to “deconstruct the highs and lows of growing up in the spotlight through the lens of some of the world’s most famous former child stars,” according to a release.
