Exciting news from the hosting world – it has just been announced that Alicia Keys will be hosting the 62nd Grammy Awards, expected to be held on January 2020. The singer shared her excitement on Instagram with the caption #GRAMMY. The soulful singer first hosted the Grammys last year, delivering moving monologues, keeping the crowds entertained and raising the spirits of crowds world over.
After Queen Latifah and Whoopi Goldberg, Alicia will be the first female artist to host the event more than once. Fans are excited as well and one gushed on Twitter saying “You did a magnificent Job as a host at the Grammys. Better than I seen in Years… I can’t wait to see you again.”
This past year Alicia hosted the 61st Grammy awards donning a headscarf – pretty much is her signature style. She shared the stage with Michelle Obama, Lady Gaga, Jennifer Lopez, and Jada Pinkett Smith which taking a strong stand for women empowerment and delivering some really inspirational lines.
The R& B singer who is well known for her creativity and quirkiness is anticipated to bring a whole new style of hosting the award show next year.
