Kim Kardashian Reacts to Katy Perry’s ‘Ugly Cry Face’, Comments “We All Have One”

Katy Perry posted an emotional reaction to the latest episode of ‘American Idol’, and Kim Kardashian couldn’t help but comment on the post. 

“Hi this is my ugly cry face. watch #idol now to get urs,” Perry captioned a close-up of herself breaking down in tears on the show.

Kim Kardashian, who has been the subject of the original ugly crying meme, was quick to comment on the post. “We all have one,” she wrote. The official Instagram page for ‘American Idol’ also commented, “Cry about it later/now/always” referencing Perry’s ‘Smile’ album cut ‘Cry About It Later.’ Fans declared that Kim’s comment must get the “best comment award” with a gold medal emoji and “if you haven’t an ugly cry, are you even livinggg?”

Perry’s latest season of ‘American Idol’ is submerged in controversy; from her insensitive joke on Sara Beth Liebe’s audition where Perry got accused of “mom shaming”, to Liebe unexpectedly quitting the competition to go back to her kids, despite Perry encouraging her to stay. 

Liebe wasn’t the only contestant to walk away. Eurythmics member Dave Stewart’s daughter Kaya also left the show just moments before she was meant to duet with fellow singer, Fire on ‘Whataya Want From Me’ by Adam Lambert.
