Catch Kirk Hammett and Robert Trujillo of Metallica Covering Ministry’s ‘Just One Fix’

While performing in Chicago on 11th August, Kirk Hammett and Robert Trujillo of Metallica delivered a cover of Ministry’s ‘Just One Fix’. Known for adding non-Metallica jams to their set, the duo chose to pay tribute to the iconic industrial metal band from their hometown.

During the show, Trujillo shared with the audience that he and Hammett often explore new musical ideas or honour influential artists from their city. He highlighted Ministry as a groundbreaking band with a significant impact on their music. The crowd was invited to join in on the rendition of ‘Just One Fix,’ adding their voices to the performance.

Recently, Metallica unveiled a new digital exhibition dedicated to their late bassist Cliff Burton, titled ‘Orion: A Tribute To Cliff Burton’. This is the first of four planned exhibits celebrating Burton, who passed away in 1986. The exhibit features archival photos, video interviews, personal letters, and memorabilia from both his Metallica years and personal life, provided by his friends and family. The first exhibition is currently available, with the next installment set to launch today (13th August) at the Metallica Black Box museum.

In other news, Metallica’s 1991 self-titled album, commonly known as ‘The Black Album’, has surpassed 750 weeks on the Billboard 200 charts. The album, which includes hits like ‘Enter Sandman,’ ‘The Unforgiven,’ ‘Nothing Else Matters,’ ‘Wherever I May Roam,’ and ‘Sad But True,’ remains a significant milestone in the band’s career.
