Kristin Cavallari and Mark Estes’ Age Gap Contributed to Split, But ‘No Drama’ Involved 

Kristin Cavallari and Mark Estes recently ended their relationship due to differences in their life paths, according to a source who spoke to PEOPLE. The insider revealed that the couple was “heading in different directions,” with their 13-year age gap playing a role in the split, but emphasized that there was “no drama” involved. Cavallari, 37, and Estes, 24, still have “love and respect” for each other despite their breakup after seven months together.

Recently, another source confirmed their separation, which occurred after they had gone public with their relationship in February 2024. Cavallari later addressed the breakup during Alex Cooper’s Unwell tour stop in Austin, Texas, describing it as “fresh.”

Cavallari, known for her previous marriage to Jay Cutler with whom she shares three children—Camden, Jaxon, and Saylor—had introduced her kids to Estes before their first date in Nashville. The children grew close to the TikTok star, and the pair had even enjoyed a romantic vacation to Greece just two months before their split, sharing affectionate moments on Instagram.

In July 2024, Cavallari opened up about the criticism she faced for dating Estes despite their age gap.

She told Bustle that she no longer cared about public opinions, stating, “If people are upset about it, that has nothing to do with me.” She added that no one in her inner circle found the age difference “weird,” and everyone understood the relationship. 

Despite the breakup, both Cavallari and Estes continue to move forward without animosity.
