Kylie Minogue took the stage at BST Hyde Park in London, headlining the concert series on 13th July. The event featured an array of opening acts including Marina, Anitta, ALTÉGO, and more, setting the stage for a night of pop music extravaganza. Known for her iconic hits like ‘Spinning Around’ ‘Padam Padam’ and ‘Can’t Get You Out Of My Head’, Kylie delighted fans with a setlist packed with favourites.

However, it was the penultimate moment of the evening that stole the show. Kylie surprised the audience by inviting Bebe Rexha and Tove Lo to join her onstage for the live debut of their new collaboration, ‘My Oh My’. The song, released just days earlier on 11th July, had already garnered excitement with teasers on social media from all three artists.

The performance of ‘My Oh My’ marked a special highlight of the night, showcasing Kylie’s ability to blend new sounds with her classic hits, and demonstrating the seamless collaboration between three powerhouse artists. The event underscored Kylie Minogue’s enduring influence and her ongoing ability to captivate audiences with both her timeless hits and fresh new music.

The single pays homage to Kylie Minogue’s smash hit ‘Can’t Get You Out Of My Head’ with a catchy “la la la” refrain. Produced by Steve Mac, known for his work with Calvin Harris, Little Mix, The Saturdays, Ed Sheeran, One Direction, and P!nk, the song marks the second collaboration between Lo and Minogue since 2019’s ‘Really Don’t Like U’, while it also marks Minogue’s first collaboration with Rexha.

In a separate interview with NME at the 2024 BRIT Awards, Minogue discussed her interest in exploring new genres, particularly indie folk.

“I just listen to playlists of one song I like, which leads me down this trippy path,” she said, reflecting on the artists she had been enjoying recently. “Who should I seek out tonight? Just putting it out there that indie pop folk is one of my happy places.”

She continued: “I just love collaboration and stepping into different [genres]. Being malleable and seeing what’s possible.”

Alongside her collaboration with Bebe Rexha and Tove Lo, Kylie Minogue recently teamed up with Orville Peck and Diplo for ‘Midnight Ride’. Earlier this year, she hinted at a possible collaboration with Madonna after appearing onstage with her during the ‘Celebration Tour’.
