Lady Gaga Opens Up About the Possibility of Joining a ‘Real Housewives’ Franchise

Lady Gaga has no interest in becoming a reality TV star.

The Grammy-winning performer, 38, remained composed under pressure about her past experiences and future in reality TV during Vanity Fair’s Lie Detector Test. She only said “no” when asked if she would ever think about becoming a ‘Real Housewife’.

When the interviewer showed her a screenshot from season 10, episode 1 of ‘The Real Housewives of New York City’, the discussion took an intriguing turn. The cast was seen in the photo at the Halloween celebration dressed as female legends, with Dorinda Medley honouring Gaga by dressing like the singer. Despite the tribute, Gaga acknowledged that she was uncomfortable with the thought of appearing on reality TV and that it would truly frighten her.

Although she may not be interested in reality TV anymore, Gaga did have a brief appearance on ‘The Hills’ in 2008 in season 4, episode 5. She performed at a small event wearing a striking leather-like catsuit with gold chains and a black, white, and red scarf wrapped around her blond hair.

In an October interview with The Daily Dish, Medley, who once dressed as Gaga for RHONY, reflected on her costume, explaining that it was a DIY creation inspired by Gaga’s bubble dress from ‘Saturday Night Live’ and was made using Spanx and plastic balls that gradually fell off throughout the night. By the end of the party, she joked that she was essentially nude, but didn’t mind because of the drinks, wigs, and chaos of the evening.
