Lady Gaga Praises Fans For Embracing Bruno Mars Duet: ‘Die With a Smile’
The 13-time Grammy winner Lady Gaga shared a heartfelt message with her fans, expressing her gratitude nearly a week after she and Bruno Mars released their ballad ‘Die with a Smile’. Gaga thanked her fans for their overwhelming support and for embracing the song with such enthusiasm.
In her Instagram post, Gaga wrote, “Watching fans from all over the world celebrate this music has meant so much to me, to see the words of the song touch your heart and the video provoke this huge wave of dancing and fun is beautiful to watch and I’m so grateful.”

She continued, “Thank you thank you thank you for loving our song. I love you for real and I hope the message of love we shared will continue to create special moments for you all in your lives — I know it does in mine every day. The power of music is big and your love of this song reminded me of that.”
To accompany her touching caption, the ‘Bad Romance’ singer shared some behind-the-scenes photos from the pair’s recent live debut of the track. The images captured Gaga in a plaid suit, cheetah print, and a large up-do hairstyle. In the music video, Mars, 38, played the guitar while Gaga sat piano-side with a cigarette in her mouth.
The duo matched in denim and red outfits, and the song itself has a nostalgic vibe reminiscent of Mars’ Silk Sonic work from 2021. The track also features production by D’Mile, known for ‘Leave the Door Open’, and additional songwriting by James Fauntleroy.
Gaga had teased the release of ‘Die with a Smile’ a day prior by posting a photo of herself in a Bruno Mars t-shirt. The pair later surprised Mars’ audience at the Intuit Dome in Los Angeles with the live debut of their collaboration.
