During this time, she began performing under the name Lady Gaga, sparking a Facebook group called “Stefani Germanotta, you will never be famous,” where her classmates ridiculed her ambitions.

Now a global superstar, Gaga addressed the group after screenshots resurfaced on TikTok. Commenting on a video about it, she wrote: “Some people I went to college with made this way back. This is why you can’t give up when people doubt you—gotta keep going.”

The second slide of the TikTok post Gaga commented on showcases a list of her numerous accolades, including one Oscar, 13 Grammys, three Brit Awards, two Golden Globes, 18 VMAs, 10 Guinness World Records, and more.
