Lady Gaga Shares Why Embracing The Challenges of Being a 38-Year-Old Pop Star is ‘Fun’

In a recent interview to promote her upcoming film ‘Joker: Folie à Deux’, Lady Gaga opened up about the joys and challenges of being a pop superstar at 38. The Grammy and Oscar winner expressed her excitement for the future, mentioning her fiancé, Michael Polansky, as a key part of her happiness. 

She stated, “I am so happy to be in love, and I’m so excited to have a family, so that’s definitely number one.” Gaga highlighted the importance of personal growth, saying, “I really believe in the ability to grow as a person.” She believes this perspective can inspire others, adding, “I just want to keep growing, too.”

Embracing her age, she remarked, “It’s kind of fun to embrace the challenge of being a 38-year-old pop star and figuring out who I want to be now and what I want to say because I really love women.”

Describing her career, Gaga shared, “It’s not a job for me; it’s just a total gift because it’s how I found a sense of safety for myself in my life.” This connection with her fans is deeply meaningful to her, as it reminds her of the strong bond they share.

“It makes me choked up because it reminds me of the deep connection that we have,” she reflected, noting how much she feels understood by them. Gaga expressed her desire to be a positive force within her community, declaring, “I really want to be a voice that deserves to be part of our community.” 

She also reminisced about her past work, including ‘The Manifesto of Little Monsters’, a text shared with fans in the deluxe box set of her 2010 album The Fame Monster. Through these reflections, Gaga continues to inspire and connect with her audience while navigating the complexities of her career.
