Lenny Kravitz Hilariously Embraces Embarrassing Dad Role for Daughter Zoë

Despite Lenny Kravitz’s reputation as one of the world’s greatest rock stars, his daughter Zoë Kravitz may have a different opinion, viewing him as somewhat of an embarrassment.

The singer of ‘Fly Away’ revealed that Zoë has never thought much of him as cool, which he believes is the right way. While discussing his impending stay in Las Vegas, he told PEOPLE that his daughter loves him for who he is and frequently finds comedy in his role as her father. Lenny claims that children see their parents in their whole, unadulterated, and not in the same way that others do.

Zoë has established a prosperous career as a well-known actress, singer-songwriter, and now director. She even contributed a song to Taylor Swift’s ‘Lavender Haze.’ Despite this, Zoë continues to make affectionate fun of her father. Zoë delivered an emotional and humorous speech when Lenny was given his star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame in March 2024.

She thought back on their journey together, pointing out that they had grown up together and experienced many things together because Lenny was so young when she was born. Before cracking a witty joke, she commended his commitment to his craft and his concern for his loved ones.’

Lenny accepted the taunts and subsequently told Jimmy Fallon on ‘The Tonight Show’ that her remarks were completely appropriate.

Lenny is still amused by Zoë’s statement almost a year later, and he is now concentrating on his upcoming Las Vegas residency, Blue Electric Light Las Vegas, which is scheduled for August. After giving her statement some thought, he chuckled and told PEOPLE, “It’s great because I love that viewpoint—you’ve been a bit of an embarrassment at times!”
