The 60-year-old musician shared a fun clip on Instagram, reminiscent of his iconic 2012 meme. In the video, he walks toward the camera dressed in jeans and a leather jacket, sporting a huge knit scarf around his neck. “Grab your big scarf, it's the first day of fall,” he announces.

Captioning the post on September 22 with, “Here we go again…,” Kravitz references a famous paparazzi shot from over a decade ago. In that 2012 photo, he was spotted running errands, wearing a hilariously oversized brown scarf paired with jeans, gray boots, and a slouchy purple striped beanie. This moment quickly became a meme, and Kravitz has embraced the humor ever since. In 2023, he even joined TikTok to recreate the iconic scene.

During a September 2018 appearance on ‘The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon’, Kravitz joked about how he can't escape the attention surrounding the scarf. He explained that he had simply wanted to protect his throat while grocery shopping in the Bahamas and ended up wearing a scarf that drew paparazzi attention.

Fallon humorously responded, “But Lenny, this is not a scarf, it’s a blanket!” Kravitz laughed, adding that the internet seems to be photoshopping the scarf to make it appear even larger each year. “The scarf keeps getting bigger and bigger and bigger,” he remarked, amused as Fallon displayed a comical edited image where Kravitz's head was barely visible.
