Leonardo DiCaprio Makes Secret Met Gala Debut with Vittoria Ceretti, Skips Red Carpet

Even though Leonardo DiCaprio did not walk the red carpet at the 2025 Met Gala, he was not left out of the festivities.  At the 2025 Met Gala, Leonardo DiCaprio made the ultimate power play by making a seamless, behind-the-scenes entry to the Metropolitan Museum of Art with his girlfriend, Vittoria Ceretti, instead of walking the red carpet.  

 Leonardo DiCaprio, 50, was subsequently spotted inside the event grinning playfully while discreetly hiding his face from the photographers, while Ceretti, 26, attracted attention in a striking navy Moncler x EE72 gown with an oversized hood and sweeping train.  Wearing a sleek black suit and a traditional bowtie, he was a perfect fit for the gala’s “Superfine: Tailoring Black Style” theme.  Leonardo DiCaprio made a subtle entry, but his presence was not ignored.

Later, when she reunited with Leonardo DiCaprio for the VIP evening, Ceretti eschewed the dramatic aspects of her gown for a more understated style and accented it with exquisite Briony Raymond jewellery.

 The couple first made headlines in August 2023 when they were seen sipping iced coffee and ice cream while on a stroll through Santa Barbara. Their Met Gala encounter is just the most recent development in their developing romance.  Their bond seemed to strengthen by September when they visited Milan’s Pinacoteca Ambrosiana Museum, this time accompanied by Leonardo DiCaprio’s mother, Irmelin.

From cuddling up at his star-studded birthday party in November (where they shared tender moments throughout the night) to enjoying romantic dinners at Giorgio Baldi, one of DiCaprio’s longtime favourite restaurants in Santa Monica, Leonardo DiCaprio and Ceretti have been spotted together in all the right places over the months.  Because Ceretti is Italian, it is said that she orders all the best food, which is one of the many reasons Leo seems to be so enamoured with her.

 The two have also garnered media attention for their opulent vacations.  Leonardo DiCaprio and Vittoria Ceretti continue to enjoy spending time together, both privately and occasionally in the spotlight, whether it’s lounging on a yacht off the coast of Italy, strolling hand in hand through New York, or taking a tropical December vacation to St. Barts.
