LeToya Luckett Explains Her Exit From Destiny’s Child

LeToya Luckett discloses her struggle after she exited Destiny’s Child which helped launch Beyonce. The band formed in 1990 however, the singer left in 2000 due to a disturbing fight with the manager, Mathew Knowles.

LeToya Luckett took to her Instagram Live on Sunday to explain that she left pursuing her studies in college to join the band. But the moment she left the band, she found herself on the streets. “I was staying at people’s houses … I slept in a car in LA while I was making my first [solo] album. Not a lot of nights, but a few.”

LeToya Luckett also mentions tearfully that she survived eating noodles in an extended stay at a hotel. “So I was like drinking a gallon of water and buying the microwaveable Oodles of Noodles and cooking them on the coffee pot – I can’t believe I’m crying”.

But finally, LeToya Luckett got out of the hotel when she got a lead role in “Preacher’s Kid” movie in 2010. In 2018, LeToya Luckett got to tour again with Beyonce with her album, “On The Run II” around Arlington, Texas.

It takes balls of steel to be able to lift yourself up when you’re down and we realise she’s doing much better ever since. We hope her life takes her on a rainbow and she enjoys a lot more success.
