Liam Gallagher Claims Oasis Would ‘Wipe the Floor’ With Most Bands Even on Their Worst Day
Even though Oasis hasn’t played together in fifteen years, Liam Gallagher is sure the band still has what it takes to beat most other bands. In response to a question about whether Oasis could continue to perform at their best level following such a long hiatus, the 52-year-old artist posted his opinions on social media. Gallagher confidently said that Oasis would still outperform most bands on their worst day, emphasizing his point with colourful language.
Liam and his brother Noel Gallagher are preparing for a reunion in 2025 after their public rivalry following a backstage altercation at the 2009 Rock en Seine event caused Oasis to break up. The Oasis Live ’25 reunion tour, which will take place in several stadiums in the United Kingdom and Ireland in the summer of 2025, was just confirmed by the brothers. In a statement, the band announced their joy, ending the fans’ lengthy wait and hinting that the tour would not be shown on television.

The Gallagher brothers will play four performances in their hometown of Manchester in July before the tour begins in Cardiff, Wales, on 4th and 5th July. In addition, Oasis will play at Dublin’s Croke Park, Edinburgh’s Murrayfield Stadium, and London’s Wembley Stadium before wrapping up this tour segment in mid-August. Oasis will issue a Deluxe 30th Anniversary Edition of their classic album Definitely Maybe in conjunction with the tour.
In late summer and early fall of 2025, the band will play in Toronto, Chicago, East Rutherford, Los Angeles, and Mexico City as part of their first North American tour in sixteen years.
