Lil Wayne Gifts New Orleans Kids Sports Equipment For Christmas

Lil Wayne celebrated Christmas with 150 New Orleans kids and made it ‘a very Weezy Christmas’ for them with presents to spread the Christmas cheer. The rapper teamed up with Mack Maine, the president of Young Money Entertainment to invite children for a magical Christmas at Dave and Buster’s. This included a very special visit from Santa, and multiple sports equipments as gifts from Wilson Sporting Goods.
Lil Wayne also posted a few of these pictures from this wholesome outing on Instagram, where little children are joyously holding their gifts and are posing next to Santa.
“This Christmas @mackmaine4president & I wanted to give some future hall of famers the gift of game w/ the help of @Wilson,” Wayne captioned the post.
“Whether it’s learning about sportsmanship, teamwork, or just using the field as a way to escape everyday stresses, we wanted to make sure these kids get to experience impactful moments,” Wayne added in a press release about the same. Lil Wayne also claimed that he wanted to give these little kids the opportunity to grow as an athlete with the best equipment, so that they could enjoy the benefits of a top-tier athlete.
Apart from this, Lil Wayne ended yet another year with great news. His 2008 hit ‘Lollipop’, which was previously in ‘The Carter III’, and ranked No. 1 on the Billboard chart for about 5 weeks, has received the diamond status. In a video posted on Instagram, the rapper said that he appreciates all his fans, while opening his plaque, which celebrates this significant milestone.
