Lily-Rose Depp Opens Up About Taking Steps to Protect Her Privacy
The daughter of Johnny Depp and Vanessa Paradis, Lily-Rose Depp, has recently gained notoriety for her performance in the horror movie ‘Nosferatu’, directed by Robert Eggers. In an interview with The Daily Telegraph, Depp stressed the value of protecting her privacy despite the increased attention. She clarified that while popularity is a natural part of her work, she finds it crucial to prioritize her privacy and maintain her sense of reality. She emphasized the need to preserve the parts of her life that are hers.
Depp also considered how crucial it is for actors to maintain their identities. She feels that for her to “melt” into her parts and give more convincing performances, spectators must identify with her characters rather than her identity.
These remarks are made while she is still figuring out who she is in Hollywood. In the past, Depp has revealed that she believes a lot of people have been waiting for her to fail since she was a young girl, which has strengthened her resolve to put in more effort.

She explained that establishing herself as a dedicated artist is what drives her rather than resentment. She views Robert Eggers as one of her dream directors, therefore getting a part in Nosferatu under his direction was a dream come true.
In response to criticism that she was a “nepo baby,” Depp said she greatly admires her famous parents and acknowledged their impact. She is concentrated on establishing her own reputation in the field, though. She acknowledged that it can be difficult when people think she doesn’t deserve to be in Hollywood, but she has decided to respond by doing everything in her power to demonstrate her commitment. Instead of focusing on unjust presumptions, she chooses to seize the chance and give it her all.
