Linkin Park have unveiled a powerful new track, ‘Over Each Other’, accompanied by a video directed by the band’s DJ and creative director, Joe Hahn. The song is part of their highly anticipated comeback album, ‘From Zero’, set to release on November 15. It follows earlier singles, ‘Heavy Is The Crown’ and ‘The Emptiness Machine’. This haunting track gradually builds from a minimalist intro into a mid-tempo second verse before reaching an intense climax, with lyrics that explore themes of interpersonal conflict.
In the video, Armstrong is shown emerging from the aftermath of a car accident, with her partner lying unconscious nearby. Flashbacks reveal that the two had been arguing just before the crash, while Armstrong was behind the wheel. Watch the video for ‘Over Each Other’ below:
In other news, co-vocalist Mike Shinoda has shared his thoughts on the “culture” of the new Linkin Park line-up, describing it as the “best it’s ever been.”
He mentioned on the From Zero podcast that the dynamic within the band, especially among those who have been together the longest, is incredibly positive. He believes it’s easily the best culture they’ve experienced. He clarified that this observation was not meant to be a criticism of previous members. Instead, he emphasized that his comments were specifically about the growth of Brad, Joe Hahn, Dave Farrell, and himself. He noted that everyone is in a good place, and part of this positive atmosphere may come from a shared gratitude for the opportunity to work together again.

He explained that as they began their recent series of live shows, this iteration of Linkin Park is “not about erasing the past.” He expressed excitement about returning to the stage, stating that it is focused on starting a new chapter for the future and performing for all their fans.
