Lizzo has revealed tour dates for a big North American stadium tour later this year, which will include special guest Latto.
The new shows will promote the singer’s upcoming fourth album, ‘Special,’ which will be released on 15th July. Tickets will go on sale at 10 a.m. local time on 29th April. The tour will make more than 20 stops, beginning on 23rd September in Sunrise, Florida, and continuing through 2nd October in New York City and on 18th November in Los Angeles.
Lizzo announced her 2022 tour on Twitter, writing that it’s been three years since her last tour and she is finally returning to her fans.
Lizzo teased her new album with the disco-tinged tune ‘About Damn Time’ earlier this month.
She told Apple Music’s Zane Lowe in a recent interview that with ‘About Damn Time,’ she has made the song of the summer.
The tour announcement comes after Lizzo’s appearance at Coachella this year with Harry Styles. Styles stunned the crowd by calling Lizzo to the stage near the end of his main set to cover Gloria Gaynor’s 1978 disco song ‘I Will Survive.’ The two then performed a duet of One Direction’s popular tune “What Makes You Beautiful,” which was released in 2011.
