Lizzo Has Announced An Intergalactic ‘Lizzoverse’ Light Show For Her New Album ‘Special’

Although it has long been established that this is Lizzo’s planet and that we are all merely residing in it, she is now laying claim to the entire cosmos.

The 34-year-old hitmaker revealed ‘Lizzoverse’ on 11th July. It’s an immersive cosmic light display experience timed to the release of ‘Special’, her second studio album.

The audiovisual planetarium display, sponsored by American Express and made by Superfly, will run on Saturday and Sunday from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. at Cipriani 25 Broadway in New York City. Lizzo mentioned in her post saying, ‘Don’t worry astronaut, Amazon Music will broadcast the entire performance live on Twitch at 6 p.m. ET’.

The complete track listing for the new album was revealed by Lizzo on 13th July. She included a few intriguing, attention-grabbing titles like ‘Coldplay,’ ‘Naked,’ and ‘Everybody’s Gay.’ The live-streamed event will include Lizzo and her army of backup dancers, called the ‘Big Grrrls’. She will be playing all the 12 songs on this special event, which also contains her Hot 100-climbing hit ‘About Damn Time.’

2022 seems to be going great for Lizzo, and tracks also seem to be fabulous and extremely well received by the audience as well.
