Lizzo Performed ‘2 Be Loved (Am I Ready)’ At The 2022 MTV VMAs

The celebrity was one of the first performers at the ceremony, which was co-hosted by Jack Harlow, LL Cool J and Nicki Minaj. It took place at Newark’s Prudential Center. Lizzo gave a vibrant rendition of the song while wearing a pink attire and was accompanied by eye-catching visuals.

The musician was seen leaping around the stage and screaming enthusiastically into the microphone at the conclusion of her performance. Taylor Swift was seen dancing and singing along during the performance. Lizzo’s MTV VMAs 2022 performance is currently available to watch below.

At the award show, Lizzo was nominated for four honours, including Artist of the Year and Song of the Year. With seven nominations each, Harlow, Lil Nas X and Kendrick Lamar held the top three spots coming into the ceremony. With six nominations each, Doja Cat and Harry Styles are close behind Taylor Swift, who is up for five prizes.

More performances from Måneskin, Nicki Minaj and Panic! At The Disco at the 2022 MTV VMAs are planned. As part of their special performance tonight, Eminem and Snoop Dogg will collaborate on a ‘metaverse-inspired’ rendition of their recent single, ‘From The D To The LBC.’
