Lizzo Thunder Claps Fat Shamers

Lizzo , the truth hurts hit maker is constantly pelted with body shaming comments. She literally clapped back at her hater with a video of her thighs clapping! This video was captioned with “”WARNING: ain’t no thunda thighs without lightning”. Yas Queen!!

In the video Lizzo lets down her waist length hair and drops some sick moves. She also added an effect that exaggerated the sound of her things clapping. She said that this was to remind everyone that curves aren’t something to be ashamed of.

Lizzo has been in the limelight for advocating body positivity and self love. She has been one of the few artists who asks fans to “go look in the mirror and say” I love you” as an act of self love.

Recently Jillian Michaels, the winner of the biggest loser called out fans for embracing Lizzo’s body rather than her music. She said in an interview, “Why are we celebrating her body? Why does it matter? Why aren’t we celebrating her music? ‘Cause it isn’t gonna be awesome if she gets diabetes… I love her music. My kid loves her music. But there’s never a moment where I’m like, ‘And I’m so glad that she’s overweight.’ ”

Her comments earned her a public backlash saying that she was being fat phobic. Celebrities like Jameela Jamil and Whoopi Goldberg also called out the fat phobia in Jillian’s statement. Jillian later issued a public apology to Lizzo stating that she never meant to drag Lizzo into this; however, her views on weight still remains the same she clarified
